Subject: HOT Show - disregard the poor reviews
The whole first set is fire, not sure what everyone is complaining about. Thanks for the great sounding show.

I dont know exactly when Barber's guitar started sounding so piss-poor, but its really influenced the way he has been playing. When he has that distortion on its like it disconnects his short term memory.
This show has some moments, but not many.
The intro to Bombs and jam into Portal are decent to good, the rest is a hot mess.

Do yourself a favor and listen to 9/9/10 if you want to hear the Disco Biscuits and not The Jon Gutwillig Band.

Thanks so much for the recording and getting this up so fast. Much appreciated, and 5-stars for that work. Unfortunately, Barber decided he was better than the rest of the band at the Mish. This had all the potential to be one the better (or best) live performances by the band (esp. in last few years). While there are certainly highlights and parts that are worth a listen, all in all, it would have been awesome if Barber just stayed off the stage when he left halfway through the set. Instead, he came back from the other side of stage (bumping Brownie to get there) and continued his joke of a perforamance. The rest of band was outstanding and did a great job at trying to pretend the crap on the left side of stage wasn't happening.
